Much as we love pets, they often damage our furniture. Fabric with a weave is particularly attractive for cats that like to sharpen their claws. This Client came to me with a lovely chair that was only a couple of years old but had become the dog’s favourite spot & was very grubby & worn.

She wanted the chair to look like it did when she first bought it. I suggested a thicker linen this time, which would be more durable. None of the seat structure was damaged, so no other remedial work was necessary.
