I offer a personalised service in the South West London area. Once I receive some photos of your piece of furniture I will respond with a rough idea of the price to reupholster it and an estimate of how much fabric will be required. If you are happy to proceed on this basis then I will make a fuller appraisal of the furniture, often coming to your home to take a proper look and measurements, at which point we can discuss fabric options. I will source a range of fabric samples for you from all the major suppliers, based on your budget and style expectations.

Once we have agreed a fabric, I will take a deposit and schedule the job in, order fabric and then begin the work, which can be expected to take 2-4 weeks in most instances, depending on the complexity of the work involved and whether the item is modern or antique as these use different materials and methods. For environmental purposes, my aim is to conserve as much as possible.

I offer a courier service for those customers who would prefer not to move heavy furniture around themselves.

So if you have a well loved seat that dips in the middle, has stuffing hanging out or you just don't love the colour of the fabric any more, bring it to me for a new lease of life. I will take the chair apart and replace what is too old or worn to work properly.

Sometimes a chair or sofa needs stripping right back to the wooden frame and rebuilt, sometimes a change of top cover is all that is required.

Regency sofa: layers of dusty fabric stripped off, re-upholstered traditionally in smart navy linen from Designers Guild, wood cleaned & polished, castor fixed. Customer wanted to replace the hair squab with something more comfortable, so we swap
